Smita was involved in writing Savdhaan India a social crime-based show from 2017-2020. She was credited as the best screenplay writer for having garnered high TRPS for majority of her episodes (screenplay & story). The Show was aired on Star network.  Smita also wrote for supernatural thrillers such as 'LaalIshaq aired
